ASPHA - American Society for the Preservation of Historical Artifacts
Welcome to the web site for the American Society for the Preservation of Historical Artifacts (ASPHA). ASPHA was established in 1996 by a group friends who enjoy seaching fields and old home sites using visual and metal detecting methods. ASPHA members have recovered numerous artifacts including; Native American arrowheads and tools, colonial and early American artifacts, Civil War relics, antique glass bottles, and other historically significant artifacts.
Once artifacts have been recovered, ASPHA members clean and catalog the recoveries, and volunteer their time to speak about these artifacts to the community, and to display their finds in an effort to educate other Americans on the types of historical artifacts used by early Americans.
